How Confidence Influences Relationships
By Hamidah Sadler
How Confidence influences Relationships: Why is that Important?

''Paul, I believe that it would benefit the company and me to change my hours from 9 to 5, to four 10-hour days. I work better that way and will be able to accomplish so much more.''

''Sweetheart, I feel uncomfortable when you question the way that I spend money. Are you worried about our spending?''

''Mom, it would really feel wonderful, if I could hear you praise my parenting skills.''

Can you believe those statements! WOW!! Wouldn't it be great if we could all feel the freedom to express ourselves like that to our boss, significant other and family??? Well, I am here to tell you that it is possible. I know I can hear your disbelief, but it is TRUE!

Remember this past May we talked about Confidence and how it impacts our lives. Now, let's add to that and show how confidence effects your relationships and why that is important. We discussed how confidence influences whether we take risks or not. And we ended with the fact, we either DARE TO LIVE the life we want or STAY in the life we have. Naturally, we all want to design our lives, so let's move on.

In May's Article, explaining the simple three-step plan, your confidence levels have been increasing and your relationship with yourself has been improving. This change radiates out to others and affects your interaction and relationship with them. You see, I believe that everything that we do is affected by our relationships. If we love and enjoy ourselves, we share that with others. If we get along well with our family it gives us more happiness. If we develop great relationships with our boss, we can effectively get what we need from work. If we have good relationships with our customers and clients then we will meet their needs and earn more money. EVERYTHING is influenced by our relationships with others.

So, listen up, with increased confidence you will have improved relationships giving you the ability to take more risks to communicate clearer and to live life by your design.

My whole objective in life is to live effortlessly and full of happiness. I believe that others want this too, thus I write - HAHAHA!!

So, stay tuned for next month on Communcations Skills and improving Relationships.
