Positive Thinking...is Rewarding

The power of positive thinking is powerful. You can actually be your own worst enemy:

You will never out perform your own self-image.

You live up to your own and others' expectations of you.

What you expect to happen, usually does.

Every word you repeat and believe tends to shape what you become.

Now, how do you put this into practice? Example:

Saying, ''I've got too much work to do,'' or '' I can't speak in front of a group,'' or ''I'm such a slob,'' creates a self-fulfilling prophecy. Say it often enough and it becomes your fact.

Change these negative thoughts into affirmations. An affirmation is a positive statement that repeated to yourself often enough, beomes your reality and fact. Change your affirmations accordingly and write one affiramtion inside a beautiful frame and place on your office wall; say it before you go to bed; and write it down. As a suggestion, stick to a simple encouragement(affirmation,) such as ''I am organized,'' or ''I can finish the tasks I start,'' or I will exercise every day for one hour.''

Another suggestion: affirmations should be written and said in the present tense, even if the statement is not yet true.

Try it! It is extremely exciting when it comes true and it always comes true.
